We can provide trained childcare for your children whilst they attend the funeral with you or, whilst you attend the funeral. Parents who are in emotional turmoil may find it hard to think clearly and to make decisions about how to cope with the children.

We feel it is important that you are able to talk to us perhaps in your own familiar surroundings, about bringing your child to the funeral service, to see the person who has died or how to break the sad news. We are able to remain a little outside the emotional events that are taking place and can help you to care for your bereaved children by:

• Helping you to give simple but truthful explanations about death and the bereavement process.

• Be helping you to include them in sharing the loss.

• By providing books and other resources to help them to understand and to remember.

• We offer an opportunity for you children to visit our premises with you at an arranged time, to meet with us, have a look around our warm and friendly premises and to receive a special children's resource pack.
• We have a funeral director who is also a trained nursery nurse and she holds an enhanced police disclosure for your peace of mind.
